Burger or Hamburger is savored as the most desired fast food meal in the United States. A hamburger is basically a sandwich prepared by stuffing ground meat patty, generally beef, between two slices of a bun cut in half. Hamburger is also famous for its seasoning. Most popular condiments used in hamburgers in the United States are mustard, mayonnaise, and ketchup. Besides ground meat patty, hamburgers are also stuffed with lettuce, onions, tomato slices, pickles, and cheese.
Hamburgers are also categorized into two types in the United States. Fast food hamburger and individual hamburgers served at restaurants are two basic types of burgers served in the United States. The individual hamburgers served at restaurants are prepared using everything including lettuce, onion, tomato, and sliced pickles as well as melted cheese on the patty or crumbled on top. American restaurants also serve veggie burgers for those who don't relish meat. Cheeseburgers are also hot favorite in the United States.

One of the best spots to stop off and get some stick to your ribs food! The Hamburgers are always made the right way and the the Ice Cream Cones are the best! If your ever down in the Melrose park neighborhood, I highly reccomend that you stop by and try out the food at Lucky Dog!

I was a fan of this place, but something has clearly gone wrong lately. If you use the drive through, they WILL screw up your order. Maybe there is a new owner or manager. Maybe they just don't feel like training the staff. They consistently manage to get things wrong no matter how straight forward. If you insist on going here (Which I can no longer recommend), order inside & check every item before leaving.

Good selection for a quick fix. Have everything you're looking for in a burger joint. Don't know if they changed their recipes, but the food was much better years ago. I still go in for a vanilla cone or some mozzarella sticks. If they wanted to, they could do good. They serve Chicago style hot dogs, but others have them beat. All of the good has good flavor, and good portions, and affordable prices, but it lacks something!

This is somewhere I go often for lunch. I am partial to the grilled chicken sandwich or 2 hotdog special with fries. I really like this Lucky Dog. They are fast and efficient. It is also run by pretty nice people. I have never been inside, only drive-thru, so I can't say anything about that. I also really like their milkshakes!

I've lived in Melrose Park for about 10 yrs now and Lucky Dog is just one of those places. It has a ton of great food to choose from. The gyros are good, the hot dogs are good, it pretty much comes down to what you're in the mood for that day. I would also suggest getting an ice cream or shake from their too before you leave because they are delicious. I wouldn't trust the reviews of these ppl who give it 1 or 2 stars, eat their and trust me you will enjoy it.

This is the absolute best spot for fast food around. Lucky Dog's hot dogs are great, fresh pickle, tomato, relish, peppers, Mmmm. The low prices are also a plus. But they not only have good hot dogs, there burgers are where it's at. They are HUGE and delicious, they also put real big strips of bacon on them if you like! There selection is vast, and there hasn't been an item that I've tried and not liked. They also have the absolute best gyros I have ever tried in my life. I have searched Chicago for a Gyro that is close and no luck. The Gyro sauce is "drinkable". Lucky Dog #1 for fast food in Chicago.

Your review helps others learn about great local businesses. I stopped in recently and not sure what to get off the vast menu I settled on the double cheeseburger combo. The burger itself was perfect and the fries were quite good too. The burger was so loaded all the stuff had a hard time staying on so they ceartinly are not skimpy there and it was a very filling meal.

Typically when dining in a establishment known for its beefs, gyros and ribs. I usually order what they are famous for. However today I wanted to focus on the healthier side of fast food. I ordered a Grilled Chicken Salad, it was pretty tasty! Love the fact Lucky Dog uses romaine lettuce and slipped in some swiss cheese in the mix. The Chicken was cut more in a cubed shaped evenly spread through the salad for maximum chicken consumption. The salad was made fresh to order and the wait was quick. Of course I had to get a soft serve twist ice cream for the road.

This is the spot where them Gs from East be at. The stereotypical burger joint where all the people go to when you wanna hang or simply eat. Gyros

You can't get any better for fast food. I just wish this place was has common asd Mcdonalds. Only three locations I know of

They have practically everything, but the Gyro is the king. Out west where I am now, they are not as well versed in Gyrodom. Lucky Dog has a great sauce on theirs, and it may run a little bit (I always asked for extra), but it makes their gyro perfect. You really need not go anywhere else for one. Open very late, too; perfect place to kick out the hangover.

When I worked in MP I ate here...um, all the time. Even though I'm a vegetarian. They make grilled cheese on the most wonderful pita bread you can imagine, and they will put giardiniera on it for $.35. The Greek salad is pretty good too, especially for a hot dog place. Milkshakes are also delicious. Service is pretty quick even though it's a busy spot. Yay, Lucky Dog.

Classic hot dog/burger joint, but with seemingly endless options, always fresh, and in a word, awesome. The grilled chicken sandwich never disappoints (the buns and vegetables are fresh, and the chicken is the right balance between juicy and charred), and the crinkle-cut fries are always hot, crisp, and perfectly salty. The place does absolutely enormous volume, but the counter staff have always been very polite. When you feel like breaking down and having a cheeseburger, it's always going to taste better from here than any corporate fast-food chain.
